As a result of a complete redesign, two neighboring apartments in a historic Viennese building were merged into one, creating a spacious and elegant residence with an increased number of bedrooms, each equipped with its own bathroom. The high ceilings, typical of historic architecture, preserved the grandeur of the space, while refined stucco details were integrated into a contemporary minimalist interior.
The color concept reflects the client’s bold preferences: green, their favorite shade, subtly appears throughout, adding freshness and vibrancy. It enlivens bedrooms and common areas, while contrasting tones in furniture and textiles bring depth and character.
Asymmetry was introduced in each bedroom and bathroom, giving the interiors dynamism and individuality. Stucco ceilings paired with modern wooden wall panels create a striking visual contrast, emphasizing the uniqueness of the design.
Italian furniture, restrained and elegant, balances the historic architecture with contemporary minimalism. This dialogue between Viennese heritage and modern design enriched with vibrant color accents makes the project distinctive and far from the city’s traditional classic interiors.
