Initially, we were engaged to refresh the apartment with new lighting and a lick of paint before it was rented out. However, after our first visit, it became clear a full transformation was needed. The kitchen was outdated and impractical, the bathrooms dark and uninviting. A quick sketch reimagined the apartment’s potential, and our clients saw the value in a full renovation. This vision became The Blue Zone—named for the light blue quartzite that anchors the design and its emphasis on wellness and longevity. Two expansive terraces seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor living. One is dedicated to wellness, featuring a sauna and ice bath—a reflection of the client’s commitment to health and rejuvenation. Sustainability was key, with durable, natural materials chosen for their timeless appeal. Every detail was considered to create a home that feels effortless, balanced, and built to last. As the apartment will be rented out we were not engaged to furnish it so we collaborated with a stylist to curate museum-like pieces for the photoshoot. These were intentionally placed to challenge conventional ideas of space and function—prompting reflection.
