In "Seven Days," we revitalised a lower ground 1940s post-war home in Northbridge, NSW. Utilising our unique '3 Words and a Song' methodology, we distilled our clients' visions and brought their long-cherished dream to life. The outcome is a space that feels offbeat, rustic, and effortlessly stunning.
We faced the challenge of modernising a space steeped in history without erasing its story. We embraced the existing sandstone walls and integrated them with newly chosen materials such as terrazzo floors, opaque glass bricks, and timber panelling. We focused on improving functionality while respecting the original architecture, optimising the lower ground light restricted areas for better interaction and light. Sustainability was a cornerstone—selecting durable, timeless materials to reduce future environmental impact. We adhered to a strict budget, maximising impact in key areas, and collaborated with local craftsmen to ensure every detail was precisely as envisioned.
