Set in the rolling hills near Samobor, this residence reimagines compact living through the transformation of two high-cube shipping containers into a refined architectural statement. Large glass walls replace most of the steel structure, immersing the interiors in natural light and framing uninterrupted panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The open-plan interior unites kitchen, living and sleeping areas in a fluid, minimalistic flow, while earthy tones of wood and stone are contrasted with deep blacks to create a balanced, contemporary atmosphere. A secondary room offers a quiet retreat overlooking the forest. Outdoor spaces extend the living experience: a pool with dark mosaic tiles and an integrated jacuzzi sit beside the terrace, while the lower level reveals a guest apartment with spa zone/sauna and floor-to-ceiling windows oriented toward the hills. Designed as both intimate retreat and event space, the project emphasizes harmony between architecture and nature, offering a serene escape that elevates everyday living.
