Located inside the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Plaza Mahou merges football, beer, and Madrid’s spirit into a single architectural experience. Organized around an interior dining area and a terrace facing the pitch, the space offers direct views of the game. Visitors enter through an immersive tunnel with digital projections, arriving at a central 28-meter bar clad in hand-illustrated ceramics celebrating urban Madrid. The design includes a functioning brewery, restaurant, tapster zone, and VIP lounge, with custom-made elements such as stools from reclaimed kegs and lighting inspired by beer flows. Materials and finishes, from 3D-printed panels to engraved ceramics, blend industrial aesthetics with high craftsmanship. The result is a unique gathering place that reinterprets the traditional Madrid plaza as a contemporary social space rooted in conviviality and local identity.
