Periscope architecture aims to unleash the potential of sustainable living below ground.
By addressing the challenges of limited space and sustainability, the Periscope transforms our perception of reality. The construction allows for building below ground or underwater without the typical dreary atmosphere associated with basements. A movable Periscope framework surrounds the subterranean structure. The core building remains fixed in the ground while the surrounding structure can be raised or lowered as needed. The movable framework consists of two mirrored parts at a 45-degree angle, bringing optimal light and views on the landscape to the underground levels to enhance this space. Building below ground offers sustainability advantages, including excellent insulation provided by the earth and reduced visual impact on the surroundings. The movable mirrored parts also serve as a gravity battery, with solar-powered servo-engines elevating the mirrors during the day and gradually descending at sunset, thus creating reusable gravity energy. Periscope is a harmonious blend of functionality, experience and sustainability, revolutionizing our perception of reality.
